The work in hand tries to illustrate therefore, with consideration of the specific development of the economy of China, the area of conflict between the 5000 years of age tradition and the modern internationalization standards. Starting point will be a short view on the social and economic developments, which has taken place in the last centuries. A central element of the work is therefore the strategic analysis of the Chinese automobile industry with application of classical instruments of the western management teachings (Chapter 9). The question if there has been developed its own "modern Chinese management style" since the economical opening of China, and thus considerably contributes to the dynamics of the Chinese automobile economy, represents the second core of the work (Chapter 10).
