Tony LaTour, a local bookie and second-rate gambler who is waiting for the big win, finds himself in debt to the Mafia. An old high school acquaintance and classmate, Bradley Clevenger, is starting a new career selling life insurance and their paths are about to cross. Without his knowledge, Ricky Alexander, another classmate, has a life insurance policy written up naming Tony as the Primary Beneficiary.
