I remember seeing a commercial on Fox network, "It's 10:00 p.m. . . . Do you know where your children are?" Good question, and most of us were comforted by the fact that we could answer the question affirmatively, yes! Or maybe! But here is another question for you, "Do you know who your children are?" Even more thought-provoking is, "Do you know who you are?"This book is about a sometimes admirable but intense and tested mother-daughter relationship. The daughter's approach to life is fueled by her own high will/high skill, and in some cases high will/low skill.
