In this romantic adventure for young adults, a dramatic wilderness plane crash occurs. The lone survivor is a young passenger named Marybeth. Al Kosub was raised on an Alberta farm, which he left at age 16 to seek his fortune. He worked in Northern British Columbia in the logging and pipeline industries, went to university at age 32, and became a language teacher until his retirement. At age 83, he attends weekly Toastmasters meetings in Chilliwack, B.C. He has been writing for more than 20 years. "I have in my portfolio about 80 short stories, 10 novellas, essays, children's poems, 80 adult poems, one nonfiction, and two biographies."
